Health and Social Care, Customer Service and Advice and Guidance

NCFE Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care

The minimum age for entry to this qualification is 16. This qualification is intended to provide recognition and accreditation for those working in the health and social care sector whose roles involve the provision of care and support to children, young people and adults in a range of contexts. This includes both within protected environments such as private care home as well as in individual’s own houses.

NCFE Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Adults)

The minimum age for entry to this qualification is 16. This qualification aims to provide recognition and accreditation for those working in the health and social care sector whose roles involve the provision of care and support to adults in a range of contexts. This includes both within protected environments such as private care homes as well as in individual’s own houses.

NCFE Level 3 iNVQ in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)

The minimum age for entry to this qualification is 16. This qualification aims to provide recognition and accreditation for those working in the health and social care sector whose roles involve the provision of care and support to children, young people in a range of contexts. This includes both within protected environments such as private care homes and Children's Services as well as in individual’s own houses.

NCFE Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Adults)

The minimum age for entry to this qualification is 18. This qualification is for those working in the health and social care sector whose roles involve the provision of care and support to adults in a range of contexts. This includes both within protected environments such as private care homes as well as in individual's own houses. Candidates must be working at, or working towards a managerial position.

 

NCFE Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)

The minimum age for entry to this qualification is 18. This qualification is for those working in the health and social care sector whose roles involve the provision of care and support to children and young people in a range of contexts. This includes both within protected environments such as private care homes and Children's Services as well as in individual's own houses.

 

NCFE Level 2 NVQ in Customer Services

This NVQ is ideal for those people whose customer service role calls for well-developed behavioural competence but whose scope for bringing about change and independent decision-making is limited.

 

NCFE Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service

This NVQ is ideal for people who have the scope to bring about permanent improvements in service delivery that benefit their organisation and its customers. These people don’t necessarily have to be in a role where they’re directly responsible for people.

 

NCFE Level 2 NVQ in Advice and Guidance Support

The minimum age for entry to this qualification is 16. This NVQ is ideal for administrators, receptionists and others providing support to clients and practitioners in an advice and guidance service or context.

 

NCFE Level 3 NVQ in Advice and Guidance

The minimum age for entry to this qualification is 16. The NCFE Level 3 NVQ in Advice and Guidance is for candidates who are practitioners working directly with clients, providing advice and some guidance. Candidates will be working with information that is often interpreted by others, usually working within some clear guidelines.

 

NCFE Level 3 NVQ in Advice and Guidance

The minimum age for entry to this qualification is 18. This qualification aims to provide recognition and accreditation for advice and guidance practitioners working in a wide range of contexts, in roles featuring a significant degree of autonomy and independence and which are likely to involve the management of staff and resources.
