Working with children and young people is inspiring, fun and important work. They need a lot of encouragement to become confident, to learn and to play. They also need to feel happy and safe.
Becoming an Apprentice allows you to have a job, to earn a wage and to receive structured training all at the same time. You might be fully employed or in a work placement.
If you have a desire to influence and help shape the lives of children and you like the idea of earning a wage while you learn, an Apprenticeship could be for you. It guarantees top quality training and in addition, lets you develop skills and gain qualifications on the job. (Extracted from CWDC website/Nov 08)
